  • Try Business Day: the next event is Tuesday, 10 December 2019

  • School Visit: The School of Business would be delighted to give a specific talk on business course options at SETU Waterford Waterford. Contact: Breda O'Brien at [email protected].

School & site visits

  • Built Environment School Visit: Emily would be delighted to give a specific talk on built environment course options at SETU Waterford. Email Emily Shillingford at [email protected].

  • Department of Architecture on site visit: open invitation for arranged visits to the Granary building where the Architecture and Architectural BIM Technology Studios are located. Contact Emer Quinn [email protected] or 051 302035 for bookings.

Larger group events

  • Engineers week 2020 @ WIT: 29 Feburary - 6 March 2020 . This week of activities is organised by CALMAST and the School of Engineering in partnership with Engineers Ireland. There is a schedule of presentations, workshops and 'demos' each day for primary and secondary schools.
  • Engineering Your Future: This is a three day programme for TY students run in partnership with Engineers Ireland. The 2020 date is yet to be confirmed but is likely to run in May 2020.

Department of Sport & Exercise Science

  • Try Sports Day: Friday, 21 February 2020

  • Sport & Exercise practicals: The department run practicals (sports, team building, exercise etc) from time to time. Contact us if you have a group interested in this area.

Department of Nursing & Health Care

  • Try Nursing: Due to demand, we have two Try Nursing event - 29 & 30 October 2020 and 31 October & 1 November

  • School Visit: Request a specific talk on nursing and health care course options at SETU Waterford.

  • Department Visits: students can arrange to visit the nursing building (these are limitied and subject to availability)
