The distribution of Leaving Certificate results  naturally change every year and this has an impact for many courses every year. Some changes will likely occur therefore this year.   It is important however that you should focus on selecting the right courses for you, the ones that are of most interest and best suit your aptitudes rather than focus on likely CAO points.

  • Yes, the minimum entry requirements remain the same though the points may vary.

  • QQI is aware that the evolving situation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic is having a very real impact on the work and lives of education and training providers and students. Please click the QQI website for the latest updates from QQI regarding your QQI FE certification and CAO.
