Working With Industry

We work with industry to meet their training needs with the development of a range of accredited courses delivered through flexible learning options.
WIT has a range of courses available for online and blended delivery. We work with organisations around Ireland, delivering accredited health sciences, computing, science, business, lean manufacturing and engineering programmes.

Whether you’re looking to upskill staff, get them on the path to promotion or meet mandatory training requirements we will work with you to deliver  modules or programmes that will meet your employees’ professional development needs.

Flexible learning options

Our flexible learning options minimise the time staff are away from the workplace and include:
•    block release
•    blended learning
•    and online learning.
We also offer flexibility in the scheduling of classes, content and assessments so to help with balancing work and study.

Student support

We put a focus on ensuring your staff get the most out of our courses – which increases completion rates and boosts results.
Student support includes:
•    reintroduction to education if required
•    an assigned study advisor for each student
•    peer support systems

Work-based learning

Many of our programmes integrate work-based learning where students learn with the class, practice in the workplace, reflect on the task and report on their experience.
Projects completed as part of their training can have demonstrable benefit in their workplace.

Technology enhanced learning

Our highly experienced academic staff deliver innovative  programmes using diverse teaching strategies incorporating  technology enhanced learning  so as to meet student and industry education needs.
