What is the International Exchange Programme?
SETU Waterford has over 25 partners internationally (non EU countries) providing opportunities for our students to experience life further afield.
We have partners in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canda, China, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan and the USA. Our non English language speaking partners also deliver some modules in English.
Students are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host institution, however, financial support is not available as it is with Erasmus+.
The programme is designed so a student can do part of their academic work in a partner institute. You will get to experience another culture, improve your language skills and learn about the different approaches taken to your subjects in another Country and institute. The time spent in the host institution is fully recognized by WIT through the use of the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
