The Office for International Relations at SETU Waterford collaborates with a network of over 140 international education and university partners to offer opportunities for student, staff and programme mobility.
Many of our university partners are participants in the Erasmus + student and staff mobility programme where students from certain academic programmes can study for a semester or year abroad for credit, and where staff can undertake a period of teaching mobility.
There are also mobility options for students enrolled on certain academic programmes to study abroad for a semester or a year at a university partner in countries outside of the EU, for example Japan, Canada, United States and China.
Students or staff who are interested in mobility must in the first instance consult with their Department and School, and once the mobility is approved by the sending Department, the Office for International Relations then collaborates with international partners to secure appropriate placements.
SETU Waterford also offers dual degree and pathway options with international university partners, which offers an international study pathway for their international students.
The Office for International Relations also works with a network of international education agents and representatives who with the support of Education in Ireland work to promote Ireland and SETU Waterford as a high quality destination for international learners.
