Gavin McLoughlin, Newstalk's deputy business editor, won the award for his Taking Stock podcast interview with 'Reformation of Welfare' authors
An interview with WIT School of Business lecturer Dr Ray Griffin has received the ‘Business Podcast of the Year’ at the annual UCD Smurfit School Business Journalist Awards.
The award to Gavin McLoughlin, Newstalk's deputy business editor, was for his Taking Stock podcast interview with Dr Griffin about his new book Reformation of Welfare co-authored with Dr Tom Boland and published by Bristol University Press.
The awards are chosen by an independent panel of judges comprising of business, journalism and academic leaders, chaired by Primark Brand Ambassador Breege O'Donoghue.
