Why did you choose your course/ to study at WIT/ study in Waterford?
The decision to pursue my masters at SETU was a straightforward one. Although I did briefly consider studying abroad, with Germany being my first choice, my experience as an undergrad at SETU was a very positive and hugely enjoyable one. Therefore being familiar with the environment and knowing the lecturers that would be delivering the modules was perhaps the main reason for my return to SETU.
What was your experience?
The balance between personal and professional development was one I believe SETU achieved successfully. Not just focused on improving my employment prospects, but also encouraging me to develop personally in a challenging but supportive environment. This was best encapsulated by the International Study Trip.
What advice would you give to students considering your course?
Get in contact with the course leader and lecturers if possible. Their open and approachable nature means they will be more than happy to answer any questions. Most importantly, get stuck in and enjoy it.
How has your studies at SETU helped you to get where you are today?
Having developed bot personally and professionally means I have a lot more to offer than just academic qualifications.
