Highest Achievements to date?
Winning an u21 Eastern Championship with Roanmore. Allianz National League Runners up last season. Winning the Senior County League.
What is your favourite memory from your sporting career so far?
Making my championship debut against Cork in the Munster Championship last year.
What is your personal aim this year?
To play more games in league and championship for Waterford and also get very far with my club Roanmore in this coming championship.
Who was your sporting idol growing up?
Paul Flynn (former Waterford hurler)
How do you prepare for each event?
I try to plan my days coming up to a match and focus on my nutrition and gym work especially.
What advice would you give to Athletes wanting to improve?
Find what your weaknesses are and work on them.
What do you do to relax/unwind?
I mostly like to hang out with friends or watch films/ series.
How do you balance work/college/training?
Try to always stay organised, up to speed with college work and plan my days.
What was the best advise you were ever given?
Always train hard and do more than you’re expected to do (outside of training, matches etc.)
Do you get nervous before big races/competitions and if so how do you deal with it?
I try to stay calm and prepare like I would for a training session the same way as I would a match.
