Highest Achievements to date?
I have played football all my life and there has been many highlights but the ones that stand out for me starting with representing Waterford at schoolboy level before moving on to play League of Ireland for Waterford FC underage and captaining our un17 team to win a cup. From there I got trials for Glasgow Celtic. I also made my 1st team debut with Waterford FC at 17.
What is your favourite memory from your sporting career so far?
Spending a week at Celtic FC on trial.
What is your personal aim this year?
Breaking into the 1st team at Waterford FC and become a regular.
Who was your sporting idol growing up?
Wayne Rooney a proper player.
How do you prepare for each event?
Exact same, sleep, hydrate, and eat plenty.
What advice would you give to Athletes wanting to improve?
Always apply yourself properly to everything you do and work your socks off.
What do you do to relax/unwind?
Netflix, PlayStation 4 (FIFA/NBA).
How do you balance work/college/training?
Its difficult training full time and always doing a full-time college course, it’s very heavy but I just catch up by asking classmates what I missed and do some work in the evening to stay on top of things that’s most important.
What was the best advise you were ever given?
Never get too high or never get too low.
Do you get nervous before big races/competitions and if so, how do you deal with it?
No.
