Springboard, Part-time & Postgrad Information Evening

The Springboard, Part-time & Postgrad Open Evening 2019 will take in WIT Cork Road on Wednesday 12th June from 5.00-7.00pm. This is a great opportunity to meet WIT subject experts and discuss flexible course opportunities available in 2019/20 and find the best option for you. There is no need to register for this free event - just turn up on the evening.

Launch of WIT Part-time / Flexible Learning Handbook 2019

The new Part-time / Flexible Prospectus 2019 will be lauched at the Information evening listing course options available in BioPharma Manufacturing, Computing, Childcare, Further Education, Social Studies and Humanities amongst other areas. Applications for 2019 can be made until late August and the Lifelong Learning team who will be happy to talk through the application process.

Springboard+ for 2019

Our Springboard+ experts will also be on hand to discuss Springboard+. This year, for the first time, Springboard+ courses will be extended so that all courses will now be open to people irrespective of their employment status. Springboard level 6 courses will remain free to all participants, and returning students and those in receipt of certain allowances, including Jobseekers Benefit, will continue to be able to access courses free of charge.For employed participants on Springboard courses NFQ level 7 – 9, 90% of the course fee will be funded by the Government, with participants required to contribute just 10% of the fee.

Postgraduate study at WIT

Prospective postgraduate students will also have the opportunity to meet subject experts and discuss their eligibility for postgraduate study. Staff from the WIT Registry will be on hand to guide prospective students on the process of applying for postgraduate courses at WIT along with fees etc.
