Student Ambassador and graduate of the BSc (Hons) Applied Electronics degree Shane Shortiss speaks about his experiences while studying at WIT
"When choosing the BSc (Hons) Applied Electronics degree I suppose I’ve always liked electronics and how things work on the inside.”
“I am a student ambassador and it’s good to help and show students around because I was lost at the start so it’s good to be able to help.”
“My favourite thing was definitely the Robocar, it was something new, it hadn’t been done before in any other IT across the country and it was different. It was great because of the opportunities it gives you. If you enjoy being creative and doing things with your hands, building things from scratch and seeing how things work, this is the course for you.”
