BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying students visited the new Jaguar Land Rover showroom, due for completion in June of this year.
On 21st March, second year BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying students visited the new JLR showroom on the Cork Road Waterford. The project, due for completion in June of this year, is part of the roll out of new state of the art showrooms for the Jaguar Land Rover as a new brand platform for the 2017 model range. The visit was very kindly facilitated by Mr David Bradley of Bradley Engineering who gave the students great insight into the design components used in these buildings as well as the issues unique to the site in question that they have had to overcome in order to meet the Clients very tight programme and budget constraints. The visits are selected by the course lecturers to coincide and give context to the building technologies covered in the Commercial Technology module in a flipped classroom approach.
