About me:

I am class rep, nominee for student of the year in both 1st and 2nd year (made top 3 in 1st year, not 2nd year). Part of WIT Viking Rugby club where I received a recognition award this year, also part of WIT Viking equestrian club last year. Also part of the Peer2peer programme.

What attracted you to study at Waterford Institute of Technology?

I moved to Waterford to work as a rider before starting college, I really liked the city so I decided to apply for college here as well.

What have been the highlights of your college experience?

Meeting so many new and friendly people, supportive lecturers that are always there to help if you struggle with anything as well as all the new sports I got the opportunity to try through my course.

What did you like about Waterford as a city to live in/to study in?

I like size of the city and it have many nice places and a good night life.

How did participating in Clubs & Socs add to your college experience?

Met many new friends through the WIT Viking Rugby Club, found a new sport that I really enjoy through college. Peer2peer program was a good experience, and it was nice to be able to help first years settle in to college.

Anything you'd like to add

I am really happy with my choice of course. I was nervous starting WIT as I am from Sweden and English is not my native language. However, the lecturers have been very supportive and made me feel a lot more comfortable about going to college in Ireland.
