EU-funded International collaboration and exchange workshop leads to possibilities for WIT collaboration on projects with Spain, Morocco and Tunisia
WIT’s International Office recently welcomed staff from universities in Morocco and Tunisia to the Institute on an EU-funded training workshop as part of the European Commission‘s TEMPUS programme.
The theme of the workshop was on ‘International collaboration and exchange’ and is managed by Don O’Neill, International Office.
The participants met with members of staff involved in international exchange from the various Schools at WIT along with a number of international students currently studying at the Institute on programmes from Bachelor to Doctoral level. The group also met with staff from the University of Huelva, Spain, who were also visiting WIT this week. "Discussions with these partner universities have led to the development of exciting new possibilities for collaboration for WIT in three way projects with Spain and North Africa," commented O’Neill.
