Why did you choose your course/ to study at WIT/ study in Waterford? The studying abroad experience Reasonable college fee Good people
What was your experience? Different ways of life.
Can you recall your feeling when finding out you were offered a place in WIT? Excited, spent a few months to study IELTS. Studying abroad is a profound experience to everyone and the further you are from home, the more interesting it is, but beyond and behind that are the lives of ordinary persons - their history, their culture, their place in the sun.
What advice would you give to students considering your course? Make sure you have enough money in your bank, otherwise you would be like me working part time during college when you have loads of assignments, homework and presentation. If you choose to work part time, you got to learn how to balance between working and studying.
How was work placement of benefit? Corporate world is not as same as college, everyone has their own way of viewing the corporate world is because our brains simply cannot take in everything, at least not on a conscious level. Everyone has their own definition of truth though and what is true for me may not be true for you, only the reality and experiences, which are true for them, work placement is a good way to figure things out.
What is Waterford like as a city for college social life? I just love the people and the city...it is the feeling.
