25 students and two staff from Zealand Institute of Technology and Business studying construction and architecture visit the School of Engineering.

A visit took place at the end of September by a group of 25 students and 2 staff from Zealand Institute of Technology and Business in Denmark. The students are studying a course in construction and architecture which is a blend of WIT's construction management and architectural courses. The students were mainly from a construction trade background and their current  education involves problem solving with a high emphasis on IT.

The link was established in a WIT visit in 2006 and has resulted in two way student exchanges and staff and student visits. The Danish Government requires 50% of all third level students to spend a semester abroad by 2020 and these links are important to them. The students attended some of our lectures; toured the campus and visited a number of construction sites during their visit to Waterford.
