Over the last year, WIT has conducted a scientific skills survey funded through the Wales Ireland Network for Scientific Skills (WINSS) initiative.
This survey was circulated to over 100 participants in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology, food and medical device industries in the South East region. The survey consistently identified a number of skills deficit areas in these sectors. WIT has now developed a number of new part-time level 9 postgraduate courses in analytical science and spectroscopic techniques in order to address these skills gaps, which are in high demand in industry.
There will be 3 New Part-time Postgraduate Certificate, Level 9 Programmes; along with a Part-time Postgraduate Diploma/MSc Programme.
These programmes are due to commence in early October 2013.
