This is another deserving literary accolade for the former Molly Keane Creative Writing Award winner
Dr Fiona Ennis, who lectures on the BA Arts in Waterford Institute of Technology, has been listed as one of the winners of the 2021 Fish Short Story Prize.
Her story ‘Duck Egg Blue’ will be published in the Fish Short Story Prize Anthology this summer. The prize drew over 1,600 entries from all over the world.
Literary accolades
Dr Ennis, Lecturer in Literature and Philosophy on the BA Arts and the BA in Social Science has previously won the Molly Keane Creative Writing Award.
Her short stories have also been short-listed for the Bristol Short Story Prize and the US-based Philosophy Ethics Short Story Award. Her fiction and poetry have been published in journals and anthologies.
