Unemployment made Mark McManus consider studying at WIT, since then he has become a student ambassador and assisted in the production of a robocar
“I chose to study the Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering because I was out of work and I wanted to find something that was going to keep the brain active and electronics is the way forward.
I am now a student ambassador at WIT. I just like making people laugh and keeping them at ease. My own student ambassador when I started was fantastic and really helped me so it’s great to be able to do the same. Even just the simple things, like showing students shortcuts.
My favourite part was definitely the car project last year. It was such a big challenge and was very enjoyable.”
