"We are delighted that students from such diverse disciplines are taking part in this event. Especially in the start-up space, we see the importance of communication and mutual respect between technologists, designers, salespeople and managers. From listening to the students' business ideas and conversations, I think they are clearly aware that they will need to collaborate with others. In order to build on their creativity and enthusiasm, connections are vital, and events such as these provide a really important networking environment for students,” says Dr. Cordula Hansen, Programme Leader BA (Hons) Design Visual Communications who was involved in the event.
