BSc Retail Management students visited Brown Thomas in Dublin and trainee fashion buyer for Penneys

BSc Retail Management students visited Brown Thomas in Dublin on Tuesday 2 April. The group comprising 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students were hosted by Ms Malgorzata Wagner, people support team, who shared some valuable retail insights. The students were guided through the store and a question and answer session followed with a senior retail manager.

Workshops

On Thursday April 4 April, Ms Jenny Poynton, trainee fashion buyer for Penneys met with a group of 3rd year BSc in Retail Management students at Penneys Waterford store for a work shop on the fashion buying cycle. The students gained a deeper understanding of the fashion process, pricing, consumer demand and retail strategy. Jenny also discussed her career choice and career pathway in the industry
