Calum wanted to open up the options he had available to him, which is why he chose to step into Masters of Business
Calum Lyons is a past pupil of St Declan’s Community College, Kilmacthomas. Having completed his undergraduate in BSc (Hons) in Health & Exercise Science at WIT, Calum wanted to progress on to a masters, meanwhile keeping his options open. He chose Masters of Business (Management Stream) to advance on to the next step.
My motivation for doing the programme was:
I wanted to move away from the sporting career and move towards more of a business opportunity.
The programme has impacted my career in the following way:
It has completely changed my career path to the business side, giving me more opportunities in my current workplace.
My advice for adult learners considering this programme at the moment is:
Particularly for individuals like myself who are still unsure on what exactly their plan of action is, this course is a broad opportunity to keep all windows open.
Why I would recommend studying in Waterford/WIT:
WIT provided a fantastic college experience for me both socially and educationally. Socially, through GAA club I made friends for life which I still keep in constant contact.
Educationally I have received a top standard education from lecturers who are renowned in the highest degree, who I keep in contact with.
