Tell me about your college experience
It was very good. I enjoyed it. The lecturers are very good that is why I chose to come here in the first instance, I suppose it was because of the lecturers. From that I met some good friends on the course and things so it was really good. I have only good things to say about it really.
What did you do before you started studying at WIT?
I worked a managing director level within different companies. The last company I worked with was to do with fasteners and distribution of fasteners and supply chain side products. It was supplying products into multinationals mainly based in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Why did you choose WIT?
I did a bachelors degree in tourist and supply chain in CIT and during that there were parts of the course that were talking about lean. I had come across lean before but I didn’t know a lot about it. So I saw there was a course here and when I spoke to the lecturers I was convinced that they were good so I decided to come here.
What advice would you give somebody else thinking about doing the same course?
I’d say it’s a challenge but it is very enjoyable. I think the lecturers are good, they are engaging, they are very responsive. When you send them an email you get an email back which is very unusual. I would highly recommend it.
