More than half of SETU Waterford’s wide choice of undergraduate courses are at level 8 so if you have something specific in mind, you may find we have it
Navigating CAO options isn’t easy and we understand that sometimes it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. The good news is that the area you’re interested in might be easier to find than you realise.
Shop local
You may be delighted to discover scattered among the 70 or so undergraduate options available in Waterford city at SETU Waterford are five specialist level 8 degrees – especially if you want to study within the south east region.
However, one of the common mistakes when choosing which courses to add to your CAO form is assuming that the niche courses are only available in the bigger cities.
And of course that’s the case for some specialist courses. If you’re set on medicine, veterinary, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, or undergraduate journalism and primary teaching courses you currently will have to apply elsewhere.
