On Wednesday 4th Feburary, Captain Mark McDermott of CHC visited WIT to give a lecture to the Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering students on helicopter technology.

Captain Mark McDermott is the chief training pilot for the Waterford based Irish Coast Guard Helicopter. The presentation covered many technical areas of helicopter design and operation and was extremely well received by staff and students alike.
