No stranger to the variety of research and entrepreneurial activity under way at WIT's TSSG, veteran tech journalist John Kennedy name checks Immersive VR Education, NearForm, Feedhenry, and TSSG in an article on how he was dismayed to hear about the financial crisis that threatens to engulf institutes of technology.
One of his suggestions is "The ITs should play a more fundamental role in supporting start-ups – if not financially, then at the very least in terms of infrastructure. ITs should be utilised as gateways to promising careers for graduates who do not necessarily envisage a career in a big city."
