Next stop for Adam is an internship with a New York company that has done the title sequences for Stranger Things, Mad Men and Transformers
A recent WIT graduate Adam Doyle, from Waterford, has been nominated for a Graduate Award by the Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI).
The Institute of Designers in Ireland is the largest and oldest association of design professionals and longest established creative forum in Ireland.
Out of 484 entries, 89 have been shortlisted across 22 categories.
BA(Hons) Design Visual Communications graduate Adam has made the shortlist with Echo Unit, in the category GDA Visual Communications: Use of Illustration in Design
Waterford native Adam said he is delighted; “it shows me how hard work pays off. It is also great recognition for the design course at WIT. I feel I got a better education at WIT thanks to the lecturers and learning from my fellow classmates.”
Adam previously made the Semi Finals in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards under the Photography and Graphic Design category narrowly missing out on a finalist placement.
Adam will be starting an internship in the next couple of weeks at a New York based company that specialises in visual storytelling and brand strategy.
“They had previously worked on the title sequences for Stranger Things, Mad Men and Transformers so I'm really excited to take my first steps into the big city and the industry,” he says.
