I have gained a variety of new skills which will assist me whilst working in the healthcare industry both nationally and internationally.

As a result of the student orientated campus at WIT and the warm, friendly and professional studying environment, I have had a very enjoyable experience.

Completing several work  placements over the past 4 years has provided me with the confidence to begin a career in healthcare and introduced me to the possibilities of potential employment opportunities.’


Study the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Health Care at WIT

The Level 8 BSc (Hons) in Applied Health Care is a one year, add-on, honours degree and is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills which students have developed on the BSc in Applied Health Care programme. 

The modules included in this program address areas of knowledge and skills that will prepare the graduate for a career in range of health care areas such as: mental health and recovery; disability and palliative care; health promotion; ethical and legal issues; and management and leadership.

Holders of the Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Care may apply for entry as well as graduates who have undertaken health care studies may also apply through the advanced entry route.
