See what is in store for students planning on studying architecture at WIT as we explore the Granary campus located in Waterford city centre
The Granary campus is where all architecture disciplines at WIT take place. This is located directly in the city centre and this helps with having a creative community. Being in the city centre also helps with transport and having all forms of transport coming to the campus such as the Waterford bus and train station being right across the road.
Exhibitions
Being here also helps students being able to present their work to the public. There is a café located on the bottom floor of the building which has a small area where students can showcase their work. The building is also located two minutes away from Garter Lane arts centre which is also commonly used as an exhibition site.

The Granary building which is used is ideal for the work students will be doing as it is based on large open spaces with design studios which allows students to take place in project based learning format. There is more in depth information in the video below.
