Marie O’Dwyer, Lecturer in Marketing at the School of Business, WIT won gold at the Association of Higher Education Careers Service (AHECS) Student Engagement Awards. The award recognises and acknowledges real and substantial engagement between employers and educational institutions and the beneficial results on undergraduate and graduate recruitment and employability.
The project was nominated by Angela Collins, WIT Careers Service and involved third year BA (Honours) in Marketing students working in groups to develop an innovative advertising strategy for Enterprise Rent a Car. The strategy aimed at attracting final year female students or students with disabilities to their Graduate Programme.
This is the second year that Enterprise Rent a Car have worked with the WIT School of Business on such a project, having won silver in the AHECS Engagement Awards last year.
