Additional expertise gained through the Master of Laws helped Aisling establish a career in an area of which she was passionate about since childhood
MSc of Laws graduate Aisling O'Driscoll achieved her childhood career ambitions and is now considering further progression within the field of law. Aisling is currently working in a solicitor’s office in administration and assisting with the management of the office.
Following a passion
When following a career path, it’s important to choose a path of which you are passionate about. Studying at SETU helped Aisling establish a career of which she felt passionate about since childhood.
“I have known since I was 11 that I wanted to go down this road and the Masters in SETU helped me get there,” comments Aisling.
Improving employability
The MSc of Laws is designed for Law degree graduates, for those working within the legal profession or for those with a professional background in Law. The programme offers additional expertise, of which can make graduate more employable within the profession. Aisling believes the programme helped her secure her current position.
“The Master of Laws made me stand out when trying for the job,” she adds.
New ambitions
Aisling is delighted with her current position as she not only loves working there but it has opened her eyes to a new potential career path, as working in a solicitor’s office has helped her identify areas in the field that interest her.
“I love working there. I’m interested in the litigation side and I’m considering becoming a solicitor,” comments Aisling.
