WIT Architecture students attend the opening of the Mies van der Rohe Awards 2015 Exhibition at the Medieval Museum Waterford

Five Irish architects have been included in the shortlist of 40 projects, from which five finalists have been selected for the 2015 EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture Mies Van Der Rohe Award.

In 2015, five Irish based architects were shortlisted for the prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies Van Der Rohe Award and were included in an international exhibition that toured Ireland. The show was a platform to promote design excellence to the design, construction and educational sectors, create dialogue and awareness in the local community, and endeavor to increase appreciation of, and demand for, exemplary architecture, interior and landscape design.
