Cían O Halloran is a graduate Higher Diploma in Arts TV Production tells how he went to work as a video editor after he finished his postgrad course

Because he had so much practice in camera and editing on the course, Cían was able to walk straight into a job and start using these skills.

When and where was your first job after graduating?

As a video editor, the week after finishing my course in Nemeton TV

How has your studies at WIT helped you to get where you are today?

My course really helped me get where I am today as the company I am working for run the course in conjunction with WIT and it was great to apply the skills I learned from that company in their workplace.

Why did you choose your course/ to study at WIT/ study in Waterford?

I had already studied Multimedia in WIT and was happy to continue my studies at WIT.

What advice would you give to students considering your course?

No matter what background you come from you will really enjoy this course as it is so unlike any other course as it is so hands on and really prepares you for the working industry.

What do you hope to hope to achieve in the future?

Become one of the best in the TV industry.
