Congratulations to final year music student, Raychel Corcoran, who was selected to represent WIT at the Intervarsity Composers’ Workshop last week which took place in St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra.
Under the leadership of co-ordinator and eminent Irish composer, Dr Rhona Clarke, the Fidelio Trio played works by students from QUB, WIT, CIT, UCC and NUIM.
Raychel’s piece, entitled Mors Ultima Ratio, was written for violin, cello, piano and tape, and it recently premiered during Waterford New Music Week in the Chapel, WIT.
