BSc in Construction Site Management is a one-year part-time qualification for people looking to advance their careers in the construction industry
Keith Barry graduated from WIT with a BSc in Construction Site Management in 2019. Keith was working with a construction company prior to doing this course and found that it has since helped him in his career.
Keith came to college as a mature student and found the transition between work life and college life to be a struggle at first. He said that it was a shock for the system.
“They were good. The lecturers were aware and had great knowledge of what they were talking about. As I said in the group, we were all mature students. So, we all had our own information to share and knowledge to share also,” is what Keith had said about his class. Everyone had something new to bring to the table.
Keith really benefitted from his experience. “Overall it was great, we only had to meet twice a month every month. It was mostly assignment based and a lot of work online, so we did not have to meet as often,” he mentioned. It is a great benefit for those who are interested in this course as it offers more time for themselves but being able to benefit from also getting a college experience and a great degree.
