Two separate information events will take place for applicants to the full-time and part-time MBS programmes and the two-year part-time Executive MBA
The personal and professional transformation effects of doing and MBA will be covered at an upcoming online information event at Waterford Institute of Technology.
Altogether two events will take place:
- On Wednesday, 18 August (6.30pm-7.30pm) there will be information available on the four Masters of Business (MBS) options available and the Master of Business in Internationalisation. (All five are offered part-time and full-time).
- The Executive MBA information evening on Thursday, 19 August (6.30-7.30pm) focuses on the two-year part-time Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration).
According to Prof Denis Harrington, Head of the Department of Graduate Business in WIT’s School of Business the two-year part-time Executive MBA at WIT will this year be delivered using a blended learning model making it more manageable for people balancing work and personal commitments.
Career acceleration
“The WIT Executive MBA is one of the longest running in the country and WIT teams have been MBA Association of Ireland All-Ireland Strategy Case Competition several times. The programme equips people to handle more complexity in the workplace as well as accelerating personal and career transformation. An added benefit for participants is peer networking – there is a strong cross section of industries represented and diversity in student backgrounds and stages in life.”
One of the unique features of the programme is the Action Research module. This will be attractive to anybody hoping to make a case for their company to support their studies – where participants focus on an organisational problem as part of the module.
While the MBA is for experienced industry executives, there are plenty of other options on offer from the School of Business.
Part-time and full-time MBS programmes
