Pamela Flynn's love for animals has led to put the skills she learned from the MBS in Marketing to good use and pursue a career in this area
Where are you from?
Waterford
What course did you do?
MBS in Marketing
What did you do as an undergraduate and where?
I did my BA in Visual Communications at WIT. I then did my first Masters in Photography in London Metropolitan University.
Why did you come back to WIT to study for your Masters?
I love WIT, it is so convenient for me being from Waterford. It has great courses and great lecturers, I don’t really see why I would want to go to college, for example, in Dublin and pay for sky-high rent prices when I am going to get as good of an education at WIT.
What are you doing now?
I am volunteering for the marketing team with ‘In the dog house’ Waterford. It is a doggy day care and groomers. Unfortunately, I had to turn down a job in Lismore because transportation was a bit of an issue but I love animals and I want to continue in this area, so I will hopefully stay in animal marketing which is a complete side track because I was in sports marketing for four years.
