A certificate signed by the President Michael D Higgins, was presented on Tuesday 28th January last by The Gathering Ireland 2013 to New Music Week 2013 in recognition of their valuable contribution to this major event that took place in Waterford and nationwide last year.
Marian O'Neill, Head of Creative & Performing Arts at WIT and Chair of the New Music Week Committee extended a huge thank you and many congratulations to all the organisers and participants on behalf of the New Music Week Committee.
Special thanks go to Garter Lane who partnered in this event with Waterford Institute of Technology Departments Creative & Performing Arts and the junior Music School at School of Humanities at Waterford Institute of Technology.
