Bo Last, tells us how the work experience in Bachelor of Business (Hons) gave him many employment opportunities

I choose the Bachelor of Business 3 year, level 7 course when I first came to WIT because it allowed me for the 1st 2 years to learn all aspects of business. After a successful 2 years, I had to opportunity to transfer to level 8 degree and to stream into my chosen area of management.

Within my time at WIT, I completed work placement in Teagasc and nearForm. Work placement gave me the opportunity to create contacts in my specific field that I could call on in the future. It also opens many doors in terms of employment opportunities.

The management stream of the Bachelor of Business (Hons) unlocked doors I didn’t even know existed. It offered me practical experience and covers a wide range of topics leaving future options open.

I also had the opportunity while in college to be a member of the Students Union team. I was communications officer and took on the role while also studying. Getting involved in activities within college outside of classroom work is essential for you to enjoy college to the max. The lecturers in WIT are amazing and the opportunities following this course are endless.
