Brid Mackey, BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Applications Development Graduate, tells us about the big advantages that the course have to offer
"For me, WIT’s BSc in Multimedia Applications Development was an easy choice as it offered both graphic design and software development.
The course was challenging and opened up many opportunities for continued study such as database, web development, software development, video and audio production just to name a few.
One huge advantage to the course is the flexible semester. I secured an internship with FeedHenry, continued to work part-time during college and now work at FeedHenry by Red Hat as a Software Developer.
I found flexible semester to be an excellent platform to get introduced to the industry and to apply all the theory from the classroom to a fast paced, agile environment.
My time at WIT has gained me invaluable friends, contacts and opportunities and while I still have lots to learn it is the BSc in Multimedia that has set me on this path."
