Bachelor of Science in Retail Management student Denise Brophy tells us that WIT was more warm and close knit than Dublin
“I had been working in fashion retail for 4 years previous to making the decision to go to college.
I had been running my own designer boutique, but I realised I needed to get a qualification to get where I wanted to in the industry.
I chose Retail Management at Waterford Institute of Technology because it has a great name and would only take me 3 years to complete, which isn't a huge commitment in comparison to other courses.
I had the option to study this course in Dublin but WIT made the most sense for me, a lot of my friends were studying here already and it was so much closer to home.
It was more practical in the long run and it was more appealing because it felt so warm and close knit."
