Junior Keoghan, Health Promotion graduate tells us how he used the opportunities of the course to travel where he travelled to both France and Alaska
"I have made lots of new lifelong friends during my time at WIT. I found the classes very interesting and stimulating which covered a range of topical health issues.
In my first year at WIT I travelled to the Alps in France with the WIT kayak club which was a fantastic experience and in my third year I travelled to Alaska for my work placement where I gained valuable experience working with people with disabilities.
My overall time at WIT and studying Health Promotion has been thoroughly enjoyable and challenging, from which I have grown in many ways.
I found the lecturers very approachable and helpful throughout my time at WIT.
I would recommend studying Health Promotion to anyone who likes working with a variety of groups and has an interest in public health."
