Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Computing student Isaac Allen says Waterford City played a big part in choosing to study at WIT
“For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in computing so naturally I thought the best course of action was to study computing.
When I saw the outline for the course, Applied Computing, I knew that this was the course I wanted to study, especially since it seemed to cover such a broad spectrum of computing."
"Waterford City definitely played a part in choosing where to study. It's labelled a city but really it has a town atmosphere, as in, it doesn't seem to have the same congestion, hustle and bustle and generally seems like a more friendly location.
I also knew that the cost of living would be higher in bigger cities and the accommodation I would obtain there would not be as high of quality for the same price as in Waterford."
