Joanne explains how she knew the Design Visual Communications course suited her from this minute she read the WIT prospectus when still in school
“I found in school I wasn’t too good at academic subjects but seemed to be good at practical and creative subjects and other than being an art teacher I couldn’t think of any other career that would suit me.
When I read the WIT prospectus that’s where I first heard about Graphic Design.
The more I researched it the more I knew this was the course for me, it had photography, type design, and many more creative subjects that were right up my street.
The class hours are good, and you have a studio to hang back and continue your work in outside of class times and this helps a lot.
It’s great to meet other creative and like-minded people and I have made some fantastic friends though this course."
