Quantity surveying graduate Nicky praises the lecturers in WIT as well as site visits, class trips and 7 month work placements for his success

“This course is leading the way with all the latest trends in the Industry; students develop software skills such as Cubit, Cost X and Building Information modelling. Students are also taken on a number of site visits and field trips are arranged regularly so students see first-hand how knowledge from the classroom is implemented on site.”

“The lecturers were so approachable and helpful I never felt like I couldn’t ask a question, they genuinely take interest in the students and are always available to assist in the student’s progression. WIT is one of few colleges which incorporate a 7 month work experience placement into the course; for the placement period in 2015 students gained work experience in New York, London, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and across Ireland .All students were offered full time employment prior to their graduation.”


Study the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Quantity Surveying at WIT

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Quantity Surveying at WIT is a four-year level-8 course has been designed to produce graduates who can successfully operate as professional quantity surveyors/costs consultants in the future Irish and global construction industry. 

Each student is required to complete a 30-week industrial placement relating to quantity surveying. 

Students enrolling in this course can expect to study modules such as; Management Studies, Measurement & Estimating and Introduction to Land Surveying.
