Becky Phelan, tells us of her experience being in the first group of students that graduated with the BA (Hons) in Arts majoring in Theatre Studies
"I studied the BA (Hons) in Arts and majored in theatre studies. I am one of the first group of students that graduated with Theatre Studies as our major.
Studying theatre in WIT provided me with a broad insight into all areas of theatre. One of the main benefits of having this course in Waterford was that I didn’t have to leave my home town to do something I love.
I’ve had a great experience in WIT and the small class sizes meant that we had more one on one time with the lecturers. The lecturers are fantastic and come from all different backgrounds so we got all that experience that they have to offer.
Since completing my degree in WIT, it has given me the opportunity to peruse my studies and complete an MA in Drama and Performance Studies."
