Sports Coaching & Performance Graduate Sam Power tells us how the course provided him with a broad knowledge of athletic performance

"This course has given me the opportunity to develop myself as a coach and progress up the coaching ladder.

The course provides students with a broad knowledge of athletic performance ranging from Strength and Conditioning to the Psychology of Sports Performance.

As part of the course you are encouraged to participate in coaching awards in a variety of sports which I had no previous experience of and this alone has already helped me when coaching within my own sport.

The classes are small enough for everybody to be heard and the lecturers know you on a first name basis which adds to the quality of the learning experience.

I feel that this course will provide me with the necessary qualifications and experiences to get a coaching position at elite level, and this is not something I would have gotten anywhere else."
