Valerie O’Brien, tells us why she decided to choose the BA (Hons) in International Business over any other business course at WIT
“When it came to choosing International Business degree over the General Business degree I think having looked up W.I.T courses online, the International Business course outline really stood out from the others.
People my age grew up as the world was becoming more globalized and WIT introduced a course that really reflected the modern day business world.
When looking at the course details, I saw that it encompassed all of your core business subjects accounting, management, marketing and HR additionally the course applies the international element by offering classes in European Studies, Culture & Society and Intercultural Communications.
The biggest carrot on a stick for me, was the opportunity to study or work during my third year. As part of the course I spent my third year living in Boston interning with an Irish/American Healthcare Contact Center Consultancy Company called RelateCare.”
