WIT’s link with ZZULI already sees students from the Chinese university come to WIT in order to complete honours degrees in accounting and business
Ger Long, the Head of Department of Accounting and Economics in the WIT School of Business, recently accepted an invitation to deliver a short programme to accounting and finance students in the College of Economics and Management, Zheng Zhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI), Zheng Zhou, Henan Province, China.
ZZULI, which was founded in 1977, is one of the leading universities in Henan Province and has over 21,000 undergraduate students and nearly 1,500 academic staff.
The initiative came about following the establishment of links between ZZULI and WIT which has seen students from ZZULI come to WIT in order to complete honours degrees in accounting and business. The first cohort of students are already in WIT and it is hoped that many more will follow in future years.
