WIT's Forestry team is a partner in the Northern Periphery & Arctic EU Region INTERREG project called FOBIA: Forest Business Innovation and Advancement
The WIT Forestry team are partners in FOBIA (Forest Business Innovation and Advancement) whose aim is to enhance business competitiveness of forestry service enterprises in the northern and peripheral regions of Finland, Sweden, Scotland and Ireland. The origin of the project lies in the need to improve the enterprises’ ability to meet increased service demands.
The FOBIA project seeks to remove barriers to increase productivity and profitability by introducing new business models, and by developing tools, available through digital platforms, to help forestry entrepreneurs improve their profitability, operational efficiency and management skills.
The FOBIA project, which is a Northern Periphery & Arctic EU Region INTERREG project, is made up of developers, researchers, business experts, educators and professionals.
